Cameras are lent for them to use and have fun with, and depending on individual circumstances, encouragement or support is given to help them own a camera. For some this is impossible, so the aim of Responsible Photography is to try to give them one, which is done through collecting unwanted digital cameras (that work and have all the leads, batteries etc) - so if you can help,</span></span><b><span style="font-size: 12px ! important;"> please </span></b>get in touch. The cameras are donated to individuals or used for Responsible Photography <a target="_blank" title="Responsible Photography Photo Projects" href="http://www.photoprojects.responsiblephotography.org/"><span style="font-size: 12px ! important;">Photo Projects</span></a><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-size: 12px;">. In other instances, it is more appropriate to encourage people to save and buy a camera themself.  Additionally, Responsible Photography raise awareness of specific organisations that are doing invaluable and tremendous work supporting young people in some of the places where Responsible Photography are active.<br /></span></span></span></span></span></font></p><font face="Tahoma,sans-serif"></font></div><font face="Tahoma,sans-serif"><span style="font-size: 12px ! important;"><font face="Verdana,sans-serif"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-size: 12px ! important;"><span style="font-size: 14px ! important;"><span style="font-size: 12px ! important;">Colombia. </span></span></span></span><span style="font-size: 12px ! important;">Gail collaborates with different partners, including people who, either individually or with their teams, have similar</span><span style="font-size: 12px ! important;"> ethics, beliefs and </span></font><span style="font-size: 12px ! important;"><font face="Verdana,sans-serif">principles - which is why Gail knew immediately they would be great partners.  <br /></font><br /></span></span></font><p align="justify"><font face="Tahoma,sans-serif"><font color="#666666" face="Verdana,sans-serif"><span style="font-size: 12px ! important;"><b><span style="font-size: 12px;">Ethiopia</span></b>.</span><span style="font-size: 12px ! important;"> <span style="font-size: 12px ! important;">Gail first became intrigued by Ethiopia through </span></span><span style="font-size: 12px ! important;"><span style="font-size: 12px ! important;">an Uncle's climbing expedition in 1973, then she met a British man who had been instrumental in partnering and developing projects that provide direct income generation for a growing number of people, helping them to develop sustainable livelihoods.  </span></span></font></font><font face="Tahoma,sans-serif"><font color="#666666" face="Verdana,sans-serif"><span style="font-size: 12px ! important;"><span style="font-size: 12px ! important;"><font face="Tahoma,sans-serif"><font color="#666666" face="Verdana,sans-serif"><span style="font-size: 12px ! important;"><span style="font-size: 12px ! important;">Gail usually collaborates with partners in Ethiopia who are keen to develop their projects and business for the long term and has worked with her main partner since 2010.
